CHIME Dating

CHIME is a uranium, thorium, and lead dating method developed in 1991 by Nagoya University researchers Dr.Kazuhiro Suzuki and Dr.Mamoru Adachi. With CHIME it has been possible to discover zircon dating back 3.5 billion years, far before the 2.0 billion years of Japan's oldest rock.
